JULIANA | DIRECTOR

Juliana has produced & directed commercial projects that have won Emmy, Addy, and Telly Awards. She has directed for clients including Nintendo, Banfield Pet Hospital, and Standard Insurance among others. As a Female Director, proud of her over 50 status, she is passionate about projects that interrupt the Caucasian male dominated advertising industry. When Corporations really understand the value of marketing authentically to women, especially “older” women, Juliana will sleep better at night.

Some accolades: Portland Business Journal named her Female Executive of the Year Small/Medium Company. She also is a Governor appointed board member for the Oregon Governor’s Office of Film & Television and was recently elected Chair of the Board. Juliana is an outspoken advocate for gender & age equality, especially for womenx in creative leadership roles in the media industry.

And some personal stuff: Juliana is a graduate of Oregon State University. She and her husband love to travel and can give advice on the best beer to drink in practically any country on the map. Juliana’s a fierce athlete with a love of football (both the American and European sort). Her favorite quote- “If you can’t be an athlete, be an athletic supporter.” When not journeying thousands of miles to watch her favorite teams demolish each other in various sporting arenas, her free time is spent catering to the many needs of her very spoiled dog, Piper.
